In honor of the recent news of Tom Gabel’s Transgender announcement. I have to admit i wasn’t entirely surprised. Well ok, at first i was COMPLETELY BLOW AWAY. But upon thinking of the music he has written, one track in particular has always stood out to me.

This was always one of those, “i can’t sing this out loud” kind of moments for me but it is apparent just how long he’s been dealing with such struggles. New Wave was released in 2007 and i’m sure it’s been a struggle since beyond that.
I’m Happy for Laura Jane Grace and wish her the best of luck in her new life. I will remain as much as an against me! fan today i was yesterday. This is a great day for human kind.
